(1) High protection level

Outdoor environments should consider rainwater and dust. So, it needs to have a higher level of protection, with a waterproof and dustproof level of at least IP65 or above, in order to effectively prevent rainwater and dust from entering the interior of the display screen and not affect its normal operation. If the module level of the LED display screen is raised to IP68, it can completely prevent water and dust from entering the display screen module, and even when placed in water, it can still work normally.

(2) Flame retardant and fireproof

LED display screens for outdoor applications have higher requirements for flame retardancy and fire prevention. This is mainly because outdoor environments generally have higher temperatures, such as in the Middle East, where outdoor temperatures are relatively high. Especially when LED display screens are placed on roofs or in outdoor areas without any obstruction, they need to withstand higher temperatures. At this point, choosing a die cast aluminum module is more suitable than a plastic module, because die cast aluminum not only has flame retardancy and fire resistance, but also has good heat dissipation effect. Die cast aluminum will not deform due to high outdoor temperatures, nor will it self ignite. Therefore, many aluminum module LED displays we see are mostly used outdoors, and there are relatively fewer aluminum modules used indoors.

(3) Energy saving and low power consumption

Many people may only consider price when choosing LED displays, without considering power consumption. In fact, power consumption is also very important, especially for outdoor LED displays. Generally speaking, LED display screens installed outdoors are relatively large in size because the outdoor space is large enough. The larger the size of the LED display screen, the wider the range it can cover and reach a wider audience. Generally speaking, the larger the size of the LED display screen, the higher the power consumption. However, there are still many ways to reduce the power consumption of the display screen, such as energy-saving power supply technology, which can improve the power utilization rate of the display screen and reduce power consumption. The power consumption reduction effect can reach 30% to 75%, which can greatly reduce electricity expenses and save a lot of electricity bills in a year. On the other hand, the use of energy-saving technology in LED display screens improves the utilization rate of electricity, which naturally reduces the loss of electricity and the heat generated during the operation of the display screen.
